"Oppie" Pork Pie Hat

This “Oppie” style hat is hand felted using natural alpaca fiber. (All natural color straight from the animal.)  You tell me your color preference and I will make it to order. The photos are examples of what I have in stock, or favorites I have made for others. The brim size of this hat is typically 2 3/4″, but can be made to your preference. This style is suitable for a man or woman. Whoever the owner, it will be extremely comfortable. A felted alpaca hat fits most average head sizes because it forms to your head.
The “Oppie” is our newest hat style, and is our version of a traditional Pork Pie. It has the trademark Moondance Alpaca Ranch wire in the brim, so that you can shape it to your perfect style without loosing the comfort and the warmth of the alpaca felt. The size of the brim and the color personalize it just for you.
Alpaca fiber comes in many natural colors and can be mixed or dyed to your specific taste. The "Oppie" was designed by Alicia Marshall for Moondance Alpaca Ranch.
